The Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA) has been increasingly engaged in green finance and have endorsed or organized several events in the United States and China in 2016. This year, in collaboration with ASIFMA, G20, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), a conference will be held to build awareness for green finance and also to ensure that industry views are heard so that the green financial system is developed in a way that is workable from a capital markets perspective.
