The ASEAN region is struggling from another deadly wave of the pandemic, spurred by the Delta variant. As ASEAN commemorates it 54th year of founding today, the SIIA takes a look at the significance of ASEAN as a regional bloc, the latest wave of COVID-19 infections ASEAN has been battling and Singapore’s role in the region.
The SIIA will be hosting our flagship forum, the 13th ASEAN and Asia Forum- Seeking Recovery amid Covid-19: Regional Strategies and a Digital Future, on Thursday, 9 September 2021, for a discussion on Southeast Asia’s recovery path and advancing digitalisation in ASEAN and Asia.
