The SIIA’s flagship event, the Singapore Dialogue on Sustainable World Resources (SDSWR) is back. Into the 7th edition, the SDSWR will bring together stakeholders from different sectors to discuss solutions for a more sustainable ASEAN in a post-pandemic world.

 

The conference will address –

• Given the long-term nature of combating climate change, how can ASEAN national and local political leaders encourage the adoption of their climate policies in the agroforestry sector?

• To what extent are political and economic uncertainties in ASEAN impacting the sustainability priorities of financial institutions and resource sector companies?

• In the face of the current economic downturn, how can nature-based solutions such as forest conservation be aligned to also address the livelihood concerns of local communities?
