Every year, the SIIA organises the Singapore Dialogue on Sustainable World Resources (SDSWR) to facilitate dialogues on sustainable developments. The 6th SDSWR held on Thursday, 2 May 2019, saw a stellar line-up of speakers from the region contributing to a discussion on a haze-free ASEAN 2020 and ways to move forward on sustainable production and consumption in Asia. The event was held in partnership with World Resources Institute (Indonesia) and saw more than 300 participants from the government, financial institutions, private sector, academics and Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) coming together for these robust discussions. Here are the highlights of the 6th SDSWR.

Even though the world is still battling the COVID-19 pandemic, discussions on sustainable development should continue to be brought to the fore. The SIIA is happy to share that it will be holding its first ever virtual 7th SDSWR in November 2020. Watch this space for more information.
